Would this be odd or no?

If a couple knows they're going to get married one day but is NOT engaged yet (due to wanting to finish school)* would it be weird for them to plan the wedding?

I'm talking about the nonfinancial areas of the wedding. They wouldn't make any reservations or put any downpayments down. But they'd pick out venues and plan a future budget and color schemes and such.

Would that be weird?

  • I've heard women have their weddings planned out since they're like 5, lol. That's all women want; is to plan their dream wedding

  • I think it's cute and perfectly fine if you're both OK with it.

    Reasons for doing it:
    - Because you want too and it's hurting no one.
    - You're planning the details of something you're intending to do.

  • The reason promise rings exist cause pre-engagement exists ;) So it is not weird, if anything it's normal.
