We actually had 3 first dance songs. Yep, three.
The first one was Carlos Gardel's "Por una cabeza" -- the tango song that's also the centerpiece of the Al Pacino movie Scent of a Woman.
My husband is a dancer, and he's always somehow had a way of... infusing my 2 left feet with grace and confidence on the dance floor. He taught me to tango with him, to this song:
To this day, if we're together without the kids, he'll sometimes pull over into an empty parking lot and play that song from the car -- and we'll have our first dance, again.
