In a marriage, someone told me to look for someone who complements you as opposed to someone who supplements you.

What is the difference between these two meanings?

  • i would want to be with someone who had similar interests like me and can relate to what I'm doing. complement I mean I think if you are a little weak in one area and your partner is storng in that area, it helps to 'complement' that weakness.
