Have you ever gotten a thought so obsessive in your head you can't think straight?

Sometimes I get stuck on a thought or a feeling and it becomes obsessive and drives me crazy. How do you come down from this? Like this drives me so crazy I just wanna scream or squeeze or punch something. I used to cut for this reason when it got so obsessive I'd release the anger on my skin. I'm smart enough not to do that anymore but I don't know what to do I can't focus on anything I wanna shove anyone that talks to me I can't sleep I can't stay still it's bad how do I stop this?

  • It sounds like you have intrusive thoughts dear it's a form of OCD. I recommend going to a therapist they can help or medication for anxiety or depression is also a way to deal wth intrusive thoughts.
