@YazanAA is it ok if I pm you really quick? I can sure use some help.
I can read Arabic but didn't know the meaning. Lol used to read Quran @YazanAA you should help me to for translation
Yeah it's a good idea I guess lol
Marhaba and It means hi
I found them in my girlfriends cell phone.I need help with a few more words. Is it possible for you to help me translate them?
"Bhoudrtk" would be one of them
Lol it doesn't make any sense for me, you have to write it in Arabic letters or at least give me the context so I can guess the meaning.
Okay, so what would this be... حسنا، كان ثلاثة في الصباح، و غير قادر على النوم ولكن أنا على ما يرام. شكرا لسؤالك. كيف حالك؟
"Okay, it's 3 AM in the morning and I can't sleep but I'm fine, thank you for asking, how is it going?"
Okay, that's interesting. So how would you write it in Arabic if you were to say "I'm doing great. Thank you for asking. How are you?"
انا بخير، شكرًا لسؤالك ، كيف حالك؟
Exactly in that order?
There are other ways to say that.
But the way, Arabic is written from right to left unlike English
If you don't mind by me asking but what are the other ways?
For I'm going great you say, انا منيح انا بخير انا على ما يرام الحمد لله ماشي الحال And a lot of other ways but some of them are just slang but your girlfriend is not a native English speaker from her writing I realized that she uses the Modern Standard Arabic. And for about thanks for asking it's the most common way to say شكرًا لسؤالك And for how are you, كيفك كيفك حالك
Cool :) but the previous sentence is also correct right?
Yes it correct
Thank you so much Yazan. I really appreciate it. :)
You are very welcome anytime dude.
Wait one more question... how do you write "Hi, how are you?" in Arabic?
مرحبا، كيف حالك؟
