GAG'ers, what item that's part of your normal diet, would be hard to miss?

For me it's pasta.
There are many other things that I like to eat from time to time: french fries, ice cream or a nice steak for example.
But pasta is something I really like to eat at least once a week and if over 10 days goes by without having eaten it I crave for pasta :-)

So, what are the items in your everyday diet which would be a burden to miss?

  • I don't think there's anything at all I eat every day; I have a pretty varied diet, and like trying new things. But I definitely would miss chocolate, and maybe flour? Because that makes bread, pasta, pancakes, and all that jazz.

    • Well, although I don't eat rice that often, I like it.
To that part of an Asian diet I could easily get used... however not to the spicy aspect.
My mouth would be on fire eating most Asian dishes hahaha :D

    • Yeah that would be a difficult one for me as well... 70% of time I eat it for breakfast, and 90% of the time for luch. Like now, I just put my pre-baked "baguette" in the oven. You know, the French type of bread.

    • Exactly! I tried to go without for almost two weeks. It was ok but a hassle. Lol french bread is the best. The only bread I dont eat is white bread :/ unless its cuban bread and thats once in a red moon

    • I eat almost all types of bread, white as well :D

  • Beef.

    • Oh yeah I remember from my "recent history" courses at university, long ago, that the potato has been so important for the health of the people.
People had a higher resistance to illness and could work much harder to cultivate even more potatos!

    • Bow down to the potato overlord!

  • Bacon. Can't live without it.
