Do you use another person's voice when you write?

Do you know what I'm saying? I can use different voices when I write and they change how and even what I write. When I use my own voice it's usually boring because I'm just boring. My voice isn't bad though just boring.

Does anyone do it?

  • No, when I write I use my own. When I read I imagine some standard voices I can't really explain with words.

    • You can do. It depends on some factors. For example when I saw your opinion and what you wrote I automatically read your lines with a duck's voice

  • no, who does that?

What Girls Said 2

  • I use lots of different voices. I usually have different voices for different voices, and there's a certain narrator's voice that I have, that's just a more mysterious, omnipresent version of mine.

    • Do you make strong impressions with different voices you use? Because if it's successful people's impression will change immediately

    • I have no idea. I rarely let people read my work. I hope it makes a strong impression.

  • I use my own.
