What do you think of women who breast feed their kids past infancy?

I've seen a few stories like this recently.

undoubtedly breast milk is better for your baby however, there has to be a cut off age, and most mums know when to stop, some mothers however carry on breast feeding. I'm not saying they are wrong, but it seems a little unnatural to me. Its almost as if they are clining on to their baby, not wanting them to grow up. I also feel its a little unfair on the child past a certain age.

  • It actually is unnatural. Mammals in general aren't actually supposed to drink milk after infancy.

  • I think there are some countries that usually go up to 2 years old - Anything after that is a bit strange.

  • I think past age 4 is a bit too far, but whatever they want.
