    • Yeah. If the hot air has nowhere to go the pizza will get soggy.

    • and you can hold the corners so it's not hot unlike a round box.

  • Round boxes are a tad more complicated to make and thus a tad more expensive. When stacked, folded square boxes take less place to stock, are easier to manipulated: a round box is rather difficult to fold thus you'd be moving and stocking a lot of air. Folded square boxes are unfolded when the pizza guy needs them.

  • Because its easier for packing, circles are terrible for packing boxes, you lose so much space that is not being used.
