There isn't just ONE state which represents the "average" American.
Every state is unique in its own way. Sure, certain regions in the United States have similarities (such as the southern states, northeast, midwest, etc) but to pick just ONE stare for the "average" American is nearly impossible. I would also like to know what your definition of the "average" American is.
If I had to pick a state, I guess I would say California, since it's the most populated state in our country, and therefore, probably has more "average" Americans than any other state (just because of the raw numbers.)
Those northern states along Canadian border.
Let's say Pennsylvania?
