Is the sun still strong at 3 P. M at the beach?

I am going to the beach today around 3 P. M. Can I still be able to get a tan at that time since the sun is the strongest from 10-2 P. M?

  • In the summer the sun doesn't completely set until around 9/10pm.

Fun Fact: In the UK's Summer the sun never completely sets.

  • Assuming you're somewhere like Florida right now, yes definitely. A few years ago I went on vacation in Florida and the first day, I went to the beach. Since it was like 4pm and cloudy, I didn't wear sunscreen. I got a VERY bad sunburn.

  • Yeah, you can. It's actually better, healthier, cause the sun won't burn you as much.
