  • Not really a spelling mistake, but "I could care less". It means the exact opposite of what people mean, ie "I could NOT care less". Unless maybe they are participating in a competition to see who could care the least.

Other than that, "then" versus "than", and also "they're", "their" and "there".

    • But I could care less means they could still keep caring even less about it. If they couldn't care less then they're starting to care more.

    • @Sexualchrist It's not really a matter of opinion :D

    • I beg my pardon

  • There are lots out there but a little think that gets to me is this site is in American English and a few of English words I use are spelt differently ( centre, center ) so when I key in my word the spellcheck screams at me.

  • "Your" vs. "you're".

  • Loose & lose. They mean two entirely different things, also, it's a grammmar mistake as they're two different words.
Lose - "I lost my phone."
Loose - "My pants feel loose."
