What's the difference between bullying, and teasing?

When you tease someone, it usually means you like them because you're showing that they're not perfect, and that you're OK with them not being perfect etc..

But, when does it turn in to bullying? When is it just downright mean? Or even racist at that matter

  • I think like you said, teasing is when they're calling out your imperfections but in a sense, because of the relationship you have with them, they're also saying that their okay with it and that they may even like the things that stand out. Bullying in my opinion is when they want to hurt you through pointing out your imperfections and telling how they are negative things.

  • I think bullying is kind of systematic and persistent. Teasing is a quick jab and gets dropped. Tone plays a big role as well.
