Is it hard to play a clarinet as a third instrument?

I already know how to play the trumpet and the french horn and the piano a little bit but is it hard to play the clarinet?

  • I think it is easier. Each note is specific on the instrument, not dependent on your lip shape and tightness, etc. But it is easy to force the upper teeth forward and get an overbite. ? Careful if you go that way.

What Girls Said 3

  • The clarinet has a lot of complex finger holes. It may be overwhelming at first, don't the French horn and trumpet only have 3 finger pumps?
But if you can read music and play the other instruments fine, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, you'll just need to practice it and not get discouraged if you don't master it right away
