Do you associate birds with death?

Like crows/ravens or owls? Or possibly phoenixes because they represent transformation? What about vultures? They eat dead bodies and seem just to be waiting until something dies.

  • If you see an owl in the day time it usually means someone is going to die

  • No. Crows/ravens are usually associated with death cause they can always be found in cemeteries. They do it cause there's a lot of dirt there so more dirt means more food (worms, bugs etc). Phoenixes are mythical creatures but quite fascinating to me cause they rise from their ashes. But no, I don't associate them with death. As for vultures, they are simply meant to "clean" the nature- eating just dead animals.
