  • The 2 jumps sides and assaults the 10, a 5 walks away, betraying X's true identity. The 3 jumps sides and assaults the 12, and 4 walks away.

    5 merges with a 4 to become 20, and the original 4 merges with a 6 to become 24. 20 and 24 butt heads, and 44 walks away for the win. Touchdown!

  • Try seeing if you can get the value of "x" and the value of "y" by themselves from the first two equations. Then, once you know what they are, you can plug them into the last equation to get the answer. Let me know if that helps.

  • 2x = 10 x = 5
    3y = 12 y = 4
    4x + 6y = ?
    (4 x 5) + (6 x 4) = ?
    20 + 24 = 44

  • 2x = 10 means that x = 5

    3y = 12 means that y = 4

    So is 4 x 5 + 6 x 4 =

    The answer is 44

  • the answer is 44
    2x = 10 therefore x = 5
    3y = 12 therefore y = 4
    so 4x5 = 20 and 6x4 = 24 so 20 + 24 = 44

  • Sigh this is not the place for math but ok

    2x = 10 which means if you multiply both sides by 2 you get
    4x = 20

    3y=12 multiply both sides by 2 to get
    6y = 24

    4x+6y = 20+24 = 44

  • 2x = 10 -> 2x/2 = 10/2 -> x = 5
    3y = 12 -> 3y/3 = 12/3 -> y = 4

    4(5) + 6(4) = ?
    20 + 24 = 44

  • 2x=10 2*5=10 5=x

    3y=12 3*4=12 4=y

    4x+6y= 4*5+6*4= 4*5=20 6*4=24 20+24=44

    44 is the answer

  • 4x+6y=2*(2x+3y)=2*(10+12)=2*22=44

  • just multiply with the right one in order to reach 4x and 6y
    so multiply 2x with a 2.
    when you multiple 2x you have to multiple the other side too. 4x=20
    multiply 3y with a 2: . you have to multiple the other side too. 6y=24
    now we can add together 4x +6y as we found:
    20+24=44

  • Oh my. Isolate for each variable and then plug them in to the third equation. Do your own homework.

  • X=5 (10 divided by2)
    Y=4 (12 divided by3)
    4(5) + 6(4) = 20+24
    =44

  • The answer is 44.

    You divide 10/2 and 12/3. You get 5 and 4.
    5x4=20
    4x6=24
    20+24=44

  • Plug in everything

  • So x=5 and y=4 and 4 times five is 20 plus 6 times 4 is 24 so you get 44.

  • x=5, y=4

    so 4(5) + 6(4) = ?
