Tips for buying textbooks?

I'm leaving for college in a little over a week and am searching for my textbooks. The student bookstore at my university charges insanely high prices for textbooks (a few I need are over $100 there) and my resources are scarce. I also need to buy an iClicker for a class and the only ones I'm finding are about $50.

Does anyone have any tips for saving money when buying textbooks?

  • For sure buy them at Amazon. You can rent them but you have to be extra careful to not damage them

I like to buy them and resell them

  • Amazon is a great place to start. You can get used, new and rented books for a fraction of the usual price.

  • I usually rent or buy books from Amazon or chegg. com. The chegg site is really good since universities charge an arm and a leg for books. Other than those, just Google the books and go from there. And good
