  • Perhaps saying something can be worse. In that case, you not only hurt yourself, but also somebody else.

  • i think it depends on the situation.. i can't really say.
it's probably worse saying something and then regretting it, because you feel regret and remorse.. sometimes even embarrassment too.

  • Saying something because you can really make yourself look bad and ruin relationships or opportunities and burn bridges. Some things cannot be taken back.

    • Yes, i can relate to that!.😭

  • Saying something and regretting it.

The words you said can be forgiven, but never forgotten.

You cannot take back what you've said, but you can say the things you've never said before.

One is reversible, the other isn't.

  • I think saying something you regret later because you can't take it back but at least if you don't see thing you're the only one that knows

    • So true!, Good point. Thanks! 👍

  • Saying nothing and regretting it because keeping things bottled up inside is more stressful.

  • Saying nothing is worse because I will carry my regret alone and won't be able to get rid of it, while in the other scenario I can always apologize If I really messed up and everything is ok.

What Girls Said 7

  • For me it's saying nothing and regretting it because it might bother me for the rest of my life thinking about what could have been if I would have said something.
If I say something wrong I might regret it because I know I made a mistake but it won't haunt me like the first..
