From the following two... should I include an extra h.
Better with the h.
thIt sounds better to me
Have an opinion?
i like the first one.
How do you pronounce it? How do you want it pronounced?
both are pronounced the same way, h is silent in the last name... pronounced AM- RIT
Where are you from?I think Amrtih looks better on paper. But, I would pronounce it with a th sound. Personally, I would go with Amrit is better.
does amrit sound like armpit lol?
not at all. I didn't even think of the word until you said it.
Haha ok... that's what some people say, it doesn't bother me though
I think your name is pretty awesome.
What do your birth certificate and other official papers say?
it's without the extra h in end
Then that's what I would go by. Anything else will probably confuse people and create problems for yourself.
well I've seen many people do it, so thought why not me
Amrit sounds more foreign.
it's better with silent h, or as it is?
As it is, I think. Amrit is more unique.
T version sounds better. Th versions of names are awkward to speak daily.
someone told me the first thing that comes to people's mind when reading Amrit is armpit so I thought I'll add an extra h to make it convenient :D
