  • H = (100 - [2t + 3]^2) ^2: Start with [2t +3]^2 - square each term, so you have [4t^2 +9]

    h = (100 - 4t^2 + 9)^2: Square everything again, doing it now makes doing the math easier for each term, so (10,000 - 16t^4 + 81)

    h = 10,000 - 16t^4 + 81: combine like terms. 10,081 - 16t^4 = h. There is your answer (pretty sure I did that right)! If I was the one writing the problems, I would have had the whole problem square rooted - would have been a nicer looking answer lol
