My computer is shut downing?

I hope both above sentences are correct gramatically.

    There's a lot of ways to say it.

    He powers off
    ...
    'off' stays as it is, same goes for To Shut Down (Down stays as it is)

  • no such word as offing. You can say "My mobile is powering up" or "My computer is shutting down". There is no such gerund as "offing" or "downing".
