For the past year I have been having suicidal thoughts etc for roughly two weeks at a time and then the thoughts would suddenly stop. I know that this isn't normal and I'm sick of feeling this way. I want to talk to my mum about this issue but I have no idea how to approach her about it, i have written her a letter about it but it sounds like a suicide note... Any suggestions?

It might be easier to speak to a suicide hotline first. It's easier ehen the person you're speaking to is "faceless"0
Just give her the letter and let her approach you. Wow, it sounded like a dating suggestion rather than somethnig serious :D Anyway, i think it's a good enough way.0
