Which is a more accurate measurement?

The number of calories burned based on a step counter or the number of calories burned based on total amount of time exercising?

The exercise is walking.

If you take rapid steps, would it be more accurate to calculate calories burned based on amount of time walking or on the number of steps taken?

  • i think it might depend on ur physical ability.
    someone who is in really good shape who walks won't burn as many calories as someone who is in really bad shape who walks.
