  • You're still consuming the same amount of alcohol, so logically - no.

However, when you dilute your drink, you tend to consume less alcohol due to being slowed down by the volume of said drink.

If you down two shots, your body will absorb the alcohol quickly and you'll feel a buzz soon after. If you mix one shot with a glass of juice at a time, you're more likely to take your time with it. The slow deposition means your body will absorb it slower and flush it out too. The juice will help you stay hydrated and can soften your hangover the next day.

Also, your stomach only has so much space. You can fit say...10 shots in your tummy and get ultra drunk. But if you dilute them with 250ml of juice each, you probably won't be able to drink them all and thus will be less drunk.

  • not really sure , if your mixing it with say vodka or something like that , it really depends on how much alcohol you add to your drink in the first place , a person gets drunk based on how many drinks they had and how much alcohol they contained. if you add a bit of juice to an alcoholic drink I don't see that changing much

  • No, you added the juice but alcohol is still there and you'll get drunk anyway.

  • I don't think any kind of juice affects alcohol's chemical structure. The only way you could get less drunk is by drinking less alcohol.
