If guns and speed kill people, does that mean pencils misspell words, cars drive drunk, and spoons make people fat?

what is your opinion on this?

  • Guns don't kill people; the gun gives the opportunity but the person pulls the trigger. They misspell words, get fat and drunk drive. It's a say lazy people use to take the blame off themselves

  • In a related story, "Man Killed by Thallium!" Fox News reported that the unknown rapper, going by the name of "Thallium," apparently walked up to a man and strangled him, thus killing him. Doctors found unusually high levels of radiation in the deceased man. Republican authorities are still on the lookout for Thallium.

  • Does poison kill people or does the
poisoner? Does AIDS kill you or another infection after your immune system is compromised? Does old age kill you or heart attacks? With a heart attack does, your heart kill you?

People kill each other with guns. Guns kill. People kill. People have a harder time killing without guns.

  • Not spoons, tasty food, but you have the idea. Causality is apparently a very difficult concept for some people. That or they have a kind of sociopath mentality where they are the only real person and others are automatons or children incapable of real decisions and so not subject to responsibility for their actions. They think the population can no more be trusted with guns than you'd give a two year old a lighter and a jar of gasoline. Only the 'real' responsible people can be trusted with such dangerous and powerful tools. A friend of mine calls this kind of paternalism 'liberal sociopathology'
