  • For me it depends on whether you're filling the cup or emptying it. If you're in the process of filling it then it's half full, if you're in the process of emptying it then it's half empty.

    I use to say it is half empty, but now I normally just make a joke about the glass being too big, so I don't have to listen to some annoying person talk about how saying half empty is too negative. The type of people that want to lecture me on how I live my life just annoy me. I wasn't judging them, so why do they think it is okay to judge me?
