  • New born when they can't do anything. When they're toddlers yiu can communicate with them better and tell them what to do. Like an under 1 will cry because they're hungry, over 1 can tell you they're hungry and you can tell them food will be done shortly etc...

  • I think it depends on what you define as the most challenging. Every age is difficult in its own way. A newborn baby is physically exhausting to care for, because it will wake you up all night and requires constant care. But as children grow, different challenges will appear.
