My sacred place used to be the rooftop of my childhood home. I would look down on all the noisy traffic and pedestrians and neon lights. Now it is at the continental divide in Colorado at a point where I'm at the junction of 3 great drainage basins of the Rio Grande, Colorado and Mississippi rivers. I can see over 75 miles in each direction on a clear day. It's at 10,000 feet elevation and there I can feel so close to God.
Mentally I'm in my sacred place whenever I tune out the world and focus on His glory and the many blessings I've received and God's promise of eternity in His presence.0

It is my room, my childhood room to be exact. Whenever I go home, I spend the most time there it gives me peace.0
