Anyone else have a strange way of handling things?

I for once am lactose intolerant, but the thing is, I don't handle the situation by stopping to take in dairy products, I actually enhance the intake.
another thing, when I have pain, I try to give myself more pain in order to diminish the other one... Anyone else have something strange like that?

  • well, are you enhancing intake to develop resistance? not sure that will work... but probiotics might help!

    it is not unusual to distract yourself from one type of pain by introducing another. i was told to pinch myself HARD whenever i get cramps. apparently it serves as a distraction for the brain, minimizes the actual sensation of pain from the first source.
