Happy New Year's! Do you have a New Year's tradition?

Exactly as the question reads! I know of people eating pork and sauerkraut today for good luck, which is what I do, but I'm curious to see what other people do!

  • Pork and sauerkraut, what part of the world is that? Here in the southern US, we eat black-eyed peas, rice, collard greens, ham, and corn bread. Yum!

    • I'm on the East coast of the US, but I believe it's a German thing. I'm not sure if everyone here does the same. And that sounds great! :)

    • My grandmother had German ancestry in Ohio and she frequently served pork chops with sauerkraut. Good stuff!

      Happy New Years!

  • Thanks, and wish you the same! No traditions here, though! :P

    • Haha no problem, I hope you have a wonderful first day of the year! :)

    • Thank you! The day is almost overt here. There was nothing positive that happened today, but nothing negative either. So I'd consider that a positive! ;)

    • That's a good way of looking at it! :)

  • Happy New Years!
And i dont really have any.
