Choose one. Doctor or Engineer?
What Girls Said 15
Eh, what's up Doc?1
Doctor. I'm halfway to a doctor as well. Way more relate-able1
Engineer, because I don't wanna work with sick people all the time.3
A little bit biased, but I say engineer.1
It's hard to choose, I really like both. But I wanna be a surgeon so I'm gonna say Doctor :)1
Doctor. There's some serious appeal to doctors.0
both sound boring engineer sounds nerdy doctor sounds stuck up you choose dont let anyone choose your future1
Science and maths blegh0
I choose engineer0
What Guys Said 26
If the engineer got their PhD, then they are both!!!4
I'd not like to be a doctor. Engineer thus. But many people use 'engineer' to describe a mechanic engineer, which corresponds to a college degree in 'mechanics' (maintenance , repair jobs) over here.
An engineer is someone creative with a masters degree over here.1
Engineer. In fact that what I'm studying for.
The pay is better or just as good, and you spend 2 years less studying.
Also, I live in the UK, where the junior doctor contract has awful pay terms, doctors are hated and overworked, and the NHS is falling apart.
However I understand why people who are interested in the human body/helping people choose to be doctors.1
Doctor, 'cause I am asian!1
They both are good, but Doctorrrrr1
If it's a specialist doctor, a doctor.
We're taught they're the shit growing up but having friend sin the field, it's slavery without much pay. Businessmen can make way more and have a better lifestyke1
I chose Doctor a long time ago...
But I could be an engineer... It'd be cheaper, and require less time! Ehh...
Maybe I'll major in engineering and do both.1
I'm an engineer anyway, so I choose that! :P1
Ughh engineering student checkin in. Engineer.1
Neither, scientist. Money is an illusion
But if you live in the matrix
Doctor has the best average pay and it has a 100% job placement in most places.
Engineers are not standardized, not very controlled and there's no entity backing them up, its a free for all, outsourcing jobs in the IT field. Engineers have a time clock, younger you are the better, they dont valie grey hairs. As a doctor, the more you age the more valuable you are.0
Go with doctor0
Engineer. I'd literally faint at the sight of someone's innards.1
Can I be The Doctor?
I've always wanted to be an Engineer, but I became a nurse instead... bummer...0
Why can't I be both?
My dad is one0
its what ever you like to do. i personally like mechanical this so i would go with engineer0
I'm jealous of both!0
Engineer please :P0
Easiest choice of my life: doctor0
Engineer, that is what I chose.0
I'd go for engineer.0
I'm an engineering student in uni so yeah. That0
