    • so 6 would be more? People act lke i's a big deal. Which uni did you go to?

    • university of toronto.

I think 5 was considered a '100% courseload'. I think you needed permission to do 6. I was mainly in engineering and math, nobody took 6, 5 was overwhelming.

    • was Ivey well reputed when you went to Uni, (that's not the school I'm currently at), but they apparently have more than 6 credits. Not sure if 8 credits are actually hard or gimmicky

  • It depends on the school, the major and the professor. At a community college - it might be manageable, as an English major - it would be reasonable, for a math genius it might be conceivable to take 6 math courses, 6 history courses? impossible.

    • Why? I was under the impression history was a doable major.

My major is business. Not too hard, but lots of group projects.

    • At my school, my history courses usually required that I memorize 200 - 400 pages per semester PER COURSE.

    • Isn't that every Uni? For exams

  • How many credits are they?
Standard would be about 15, high would be 18-20

  • It's just one more than the average 5 you should be taking per semester.
