    • Wow, cool. : D

      Can you describe it?

How is the airport? The transportation? The people? The dresscode?

The houses? Are there animals on the street? Farms? Any greenery?

Do people only speak Arabic? Do you speak it?

      Did you learn it?

      Any festivals? Flea market?

  • Yes, I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia (lived there for 18 years) and although I live in France now, I'm still a Saudi resident.
I would to visit Palestine, UAE, Lebanon and Egypt!
And I'm Tunisian, technically not a Middle Eastern county but an Arab country 😊

    • Wow! Saudi Arabia? You are blessed! I really want to go there.
Are the car accidents really that bad as some people say?

My uncle lives there and he is a surgeon, he mentioned about the accidents too. That's the only thing that scares me.

  • Well, I'm Palestinian and I lived in Palestine for more than 19 years! It's a very beautiful country indeed but it's unfortunately ruined because of the invaders and land stealers.

I also was in Jordan for 2 days, it looked beautiful from what I have seen from it, even though I haven't seen that.

  • I went to Palestine. (West bank ) I went there by car , from Israel.
    Nothing special
(I went to Egypt too but that's more Maghreb N-Africa than the Middle East)
Liked it but some people were difficult to deal with: overbooked hotels and planes.
-Booking a good hotel in Cairo but getting a dirty room in some annex in a muddy backstreet with a herd of sheep in the street.
-Booked a good hotel in luxor but half a day hard discussion to get a room.
-A monument guide with loose hands, too
    interested in my wife.
-A cop trying to sell his pistol (Beretta 9mm ) for $500.
-Having to load myself the luggage in the plane's cargo space in Luxor
-Power outtage in louxor when I went out to search a pharmacy: Louxor in the dark is a bit disconcerting :)
-the hospital in Cairo was really dirty: dusty OR working with open doors :-p

    Interesting voyage but not easy.
I went to Al Ahzar in Cairo, discussed philosophy with some students. I said (smiling) that I'm kofr and the discussion started, polite and nice. :)
