So, I submitted a very original video to youtube last week and it got very positive comments/ratings (5 stars). My friends said that it was really awesome and hilarious. In the first day it received 35 views (which is about the same as the number of subscribers that I have). But after that, it pretty much peaked. It was getting like 1 view a day. The content is very original (something thats never been done before), so all the related videos that are displayed aren't related to my video at all. I did my best to put in relevant tags and I even posted the vid on Digg and Delicious, but it's still not getting any views. Could someone help me?

Have you ever tried to buy youtube views from real people via services? Buying views is a thing. You can get thousands or even millions of views for any video. Use only those companies that will provide your videos with real views, so there will be no chance of your account/video being banned.1

i feel like if you do youtube for the views, you´re doing it wrong and are bound to fail. all the successfull youtubers started it as a thing they do cause they personally enjoyed it and it evolved from there.
from what i know the most important thing for generating views besides quality of content is quantity of kontent and kontent schedule. if you have new videos every week or even every other day, views will increase with time (if you do good content). if you just do a video once in a while, people will not remember you. unless you make exceptionally good content like cgp grey for example.0
