Oh Wonder are my absolute favourites ❤️
The Canada dries
I wish the same thing with Max Schneider. He's well known in USA, but no one of my friends know him.
Kiddo, I hate to break it to you, but Weezer was "discovered" in the 90s. 😘
You may also like: Ash, Jimmy Eat World, Fountains of Wayne, Superdrag, Rooney, Motion City Soundtrack for some other bands of similar sound/fame.
Shawn James & The Shapeshifters The Bear: Omens
The girl singer (there are two singers) from Mayday Children. They are very unknown, with only a hundred views on youtube for their most popular song and less than a thousand for spotify. It was by sheer luck I stumbled upon them.
Living On The Run -- Mayday Children
Weezer is pretty well known. Even my parents recognize that name.
Alestorm - it's pirate metal and I'm pretty sure most metal fans would enjoy them.
Also, Tourniquet, the most underrated thrash band ever (because they're Christian metal).
Thissss way is a waterslide away from me
That takes you further every day
So be cool
Fucking love that song.
Ya. Weezer is fantastic rock.
If you want something similar
Something that really makes you feel
Then my friend turn to the Kings
The Kings of Leon
They were pretty mainstream 20 years ago. I remember their videos on MTV. MTV used to play videos. MTV, not MTV 2, 3 or whatever the channel is now.
Bahaha weezer not famous :P What's next, Queen? That's not in the charts at the moment either
If you don't mind metal:
Cire - Choreography
Fozzy - Martyr no More
Ghost Ship Octavius - Mills of the Gods
And for anyone who isn't really all that into MathCore
Protest the Hero - Heretics and Killers
They were well known. They may not be as relevant as they once were but they were big in the 90's and early 2000's. Weezer has and will be one of my favorite bands.
Weezer is/was very very popular. The blue album was a huge hit in the 90s. Pinkerton flopped, but has become a cult hit. The albums they released after were also hits but much different stylistically. I love Weezer by the way and grew up listening to their albums.
Erm, they were pretty famous in the '90s. I'm going to go with Galaxie 500. Definitely an underrated band
semisonic, or three days grace,
The maine... they are awesome
Ah... if I start to mention I'll never finish...
I'll just mention Fischer-Z as an example... I'm listenin' to those guys right now...
They sound pretty much like The Police... but unfortunately they didn't become not even half successful as 'em...
Weezer is popular no? The Pinker Tones are bad ass and many do not know of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CyMp4QsvY0
