  • It can if you think the first lie, was believed, however telling lies more than once leads to habit. Lying can be a bad habit it's more important to be honest and authentic then to pretend or presuppose that we are somebody or something we are not. Also lying to form boundaries or to impress others is also not good as when the truth is found much damage can be done to a relationship.
