I was just on gag when it sent me to a new link and something else came up so I close the chrome then opened it again and saw this. I hit ok then I closed it and saw something saying due to a hacking all whatever users are required to do an update on their launcher. Is this just some stupid website thing or serious?

It can be spam
It can be genuine
It can be a trick to get a virus in your system.
When I doubt about such a message, I always abstain. (the one time I believed it, I got ransomware on my computer and formatting + reinstalling a mirror is easier than side loading Android.)1

Definitely spam. Especially coming from an address like "androidhelpa. xyz" ahahah
Official software updates are pretty conspicuous, and they are ALWAYS identifiable as coming from wherever they're coming from. Also, they might say "critically urgent" or whatever, but an official update will NEVER give an ultimatum like "yr system won't work after X time if you don't bla bla bla". (People have lives, and go on vacations, etc... obviously, the real system would not expose them to a risk like this!)
Also, official updates will NEVER EVER contain grammatical errors ("will locked").0
