  • Red Hot Chili Peppers does the trick for me. The funky tune really gets me going haha. Also Slipknot, I go crazy when listening to them. So I would say rock, lol

  • For those that know me this will seem a little odd, but I love the heavy rock/metal band SABATON mostly because their music is awesome and they usually only sing about famous war units and battles.

And actually their music is a great way to learn about history or help get people interested in it, here are some of my favorite songs.

    SABATON - Screaming Eagles

( About the Elite USA 101st Airborne unit during WW2 known as the Screaming Eagles )

SABATON - To Hell And Back

About Audie Murphy the most decorated soldier in US history also in the video it's showing the time when he got addicted to these pills after the war, and instead of going to rehab he locked himself in a hotel room for a week and stopped cold turkey and spent the week in a hotel room going through withdrawal his most well known feat is fighting off 6 German tanks and 250 Nazi infantrymen all by himself for over an hour while on top of a burning tank destroy while he had a leg injury from being shot and while he had Malaria he single handily repelled all of them and killed or wounded over 50 Nazi soldiers and when he ran out of ammo he returned to his men who he ordered to retreat and regrouped and went after the Nazi's lol.

    SABATON - The Lost Battalion

About the legendary Lost Battalion of the famed Rainbow Division during WW1 an American unit got trapped behind German lines in a forest because the units that were supposed to covering their sides couldn't keep up with them, and with almost no ammo, food or supplies they fought off almost continuous German counterattack for a week straight while being surrounded from literally all sides and taking fire from British artillery trying to help them but finally they were able to repel the Germans for good and got rescued out of the almost 600 men originally less then 200 survived one of my family members was a member of that lost battalion and survived the war, damn proud of that ^^.

    • Sabaton - Ghost Division

About a German Panzer Division the 7th Panzer Division to be exact also known as the Ghost Division because no one knew where these guys would show up, the Nazi's had no clue where these guys show up and British and us Americans had no clue either. They were known as the Ghost Division because no one knew where these guys were half the time they would just show up in a battle at random, attack and then disappear only to reappear somewhere else later, usually attacking from the sides or flank then disappearing again. It always surprised the Nazi's because they couldn't keep track of them and it scared the shit out of us because we never had any idea of when they'd show up, it especially made the British shit their pants because they were still using WW1 equipment and got completely decimated by them.
