    I take it that you live outside of UK since you are asking this?

    You should compare the prices on Amazon. co. uk (with delivery costs of course) and compare it with the country / local stores you have.

    If you still live in UK, compare the prices of Amazon. co. uk with your local bookstores and then you'll have your answer.

  • Depends on the book tbh.

    It's around 11 dollars I think, and I usually buy books around $2-$20 price range.
    But again depends on the book.
    For some I wouldn't consider 8 pounds to be expensive but then there may be some books that I would find it rather expensive to pay that amount.

  • Depends on what book. For a textbook it's incredibly cheap, but for some types of black and white fiction books it's costly.
