The most expensive thing I ever bought without taking out a loan (either from a bank or an individual) was this computer at $500. It's not my most expensive one (that one was $1800 back in 1999, but I borrowed $1500 of that from my brother)
I'll be updating pretty soon because I'm getting ready to drop $950+ on a Davinci 3D printer (with integrated 3D scanner) and the etching laser attachment.
A new phone lol $800 .. probably the most stupid and most expensive thing I bought was a dress... it was for one night and I've never worn it again.. it was $180 fml.
