Is it possible as someone who is not involved in a specific relationship to detect whether this relationship will start to go to an end?

For example, are co-workers, friends, family able to "sense" whether a relationship will go to an end or not?

  • Usually yes. People who start to drift apart act a certain way. (please elaborate how this certain way looks like)

To reword the question:
Are outsiders (people who are not in the r/s in question) able to tell whether a current r/s between two people is about to fail or not? If it is possible, what are examples of these "things" that outsiders can notice?
