Is feeling like this normal?

About 1.5 months ago, I ended a 4 year relationship. I posted about this earlier, but, long story short she wasn't right for me. I now miss the relationship. Not so much her, but being in a relationship.
The first week was somewhat tough, but nothing I couldn't handle.
Weeks 2 and 3 were a bit easier. I though of all the negative things she said to me. This made it easier to begin moving on.
Week 4 was calming... got out, had fun.
Weeks 5 and 6 have been somewhat brutal. I keep thinking about her, wanting a relationship, thinking about what we would have done together this summer, etc.

This is my first major break up. We dated for 4 years. The breakup was messy. Moving on was much easier with the last two women - clean break up, we had a little laugh, and moved on.
Is feeling like this normal?
