You picked some good ones. I'm not a country fan but I do like Carrie Underwood.
I like all sorts of music, love LP just not their newer music since its more dubstep and and sounds odd to me I preferred it when it was rock/rap/pop
I don't listen to their new stuff as much either. I heard it sounds a little more like pop now.
it's quite synthesised that's for sure
Bad break up I take it ?
To know all these songs I mean?
@Girlwantsanswers More like a few bad breakups lol
No way ! And you @19magic too?
nah I generally like listening to those types of songs, the artists have good stories within the lyrics. Like another Carrie underwood is called two black Cadilacs (don't know how to spell) and is about a wife and a mistress and them killing the cheater. Sometimes I listen to them to vent, and others I listen to them to make myself feel happy, since I haven't dated yet and haven't felt the heartbreak these people have felt.
Yeah Alanis Morissette was usually my go to lol I have that whole album I love it!
my friends think I'm weird for casually listening to breakup songs lol
You have never been through heartbreak?
really, that's honestly the only song I know of Alanis is her other songs similar style I might check them out
@19magic your friends are weird for saying that and @Girlwantsanswers I know right? She's so lucky!!! :)
Yeah ignore them @19magic !!
I've never really dated, there's been a few times back in high school at 13 and again 15, but they didn't last longer then a month and week, so neither were serious. I've met a few guys since going to uni but it's all normally about drinking and sex. I'm only starting to realise that I actually want a relationship after denying it for so long which is probably another factor to it.
Why do you want a relationship now?
A mix of things really one is the cliché of everyone around me has a relationship so I'm feeling left out. Another is to kinda see what it's like I've heard the shit stories, like cheating and dickish moves etc. but I've also heard the nice ones like dates or sitting in each others company and having inside jokes. Being able to rely on one another/being there for each other. Lastly I just wanna get to know someone in a deep and meaningful way, both physically and as a person. I've grown since coming to uni and don't guard myself too much, I used to be too much of one mood now I feel like I have a balance in my feelings, where before I honestly didn't feel ready as a person to have any kind of serious relationship.
Oh wow @19magic, totally understandable. How do you feel about love? Is that something you're after?
For years I didn't believe in it all of my families relationships seem to be because they've settled. One uncle chased skinny chicks then married a massive gal, another married a Thai gal as he basically wanted a live in maid, my grandad has married 3 times and now is with a pretty woman who is very money hungry. My dad says he loves his girlfriend but at the same time she has bad cleaning habits and he hates them and has said he knew what he was getting into. For ages I just thought there's no such thing as romantic love between two people, but with my friends I see it every day for some of them and my opinion on it is changing. I believe in it now and kinda want it for myself and just to see what it's like.
sorry about all the back story lol don't know how else to explain it
Aww that's nice. :) Wow so you didn't believe in love before? Just sex?
yeah just thought of sex as a way to relax/relive stress and well... a way to stop feeling horny 😅 lol while after recent experience and talks with mates I want to feel a connection with someone.
What did your mates say about it that made you reconsider? It sucks their all in relationships 😤
About getting to know one another and slowly getting to know all their likes and dislikes. The more you know someone the better it can be for them, whereas if it's fleeting you only care about yourself and not the longterm. It's also seeing these couples over the long term, knowing them both from the start and to now (just over a year). Seeing how they've grown and how a different happiness comes from just seeing one another, rather than if it was just friends.
It must be refreshing to be around a relationship that's works, me and my friends are all unlucky in love :(
Was the time spent together worth it or not, for the memories and as for the breakup is the lesson going to be taken on board (although I hope these bad breakups weren't from 2+ year relationships), and I'm sorry things have been on the rocks lately for you and your friends.
Yeah it's great to be in a relationship just awful if it has to end. But you get memories from them and forms a big learning curve from it. How are you going to go about this then? Date or wait for the one?
I don't believe in the one, I think there's many people out there for you. It just needs the right timing in each of your lives. If I met this great guy a couple of years ago we wouldn't have hit it off, or I would have forgotten myself and want to be his everything. I think for now it's just meeting more people be more social and be more active, there's plenty of time for dating and when it happens it happens for now I'll continue living my life.
I'm one of the ones that doesn't believe in relationships too much anymore. I delt with a lot of loser scumbags kind of made me jaded and heartless 😕
I wouldn't give up hope, you may just block out the one who really matters.
@19magic I haven't seen anyone worth the trouble
That's fine just don't let it consume you, if someone worthy comes along don't act cold just be a little distant and slowly get into it and develop your relationship with each other before labels or interference.
Hopefully it will happen
thanks for the mho
I wish I could give your question a like. I'm a huge Linkin Park fan so...😁😁
I've loved them since Hybrid Theory and I always will. I used to think Mike Shinoda was a babe

Omg Eamon song was the shit back in high school. Talk about a throwback! I love me some Lauryn Hill too!
if you love her let her go
Who sings that one?
I don't really have any.
Really? None at all?
Nah, when I used to be in relationships I saw breakups coming, or was the one doing it. Didn't really hurt, or make a lasting mark.
No songs that make you think of your exes even if you broke up with them?
Not really nah. Can't say ones particularly brought up memories consistently.
separate ways -journey
I haven't heard that one.
Potential Breakup Song - Aly & AJ
