Do think most people who''d previously swore to end their relationships if they were cheated on actually did just that after they were cheated on?

Or was it mostly just a lot of talk from them in the hope that their partners would be too afraid to test them, while deep down they always had some openness to the idea of reconciliation if they were ever cheated on?

I suspect better than half, probably closer to 3/4 of them did try again. I wish I didn't believe that, but I just doubt it's so easy for most people to end things so completely, even if there are no dependents or shared assets involved.
