What helps you move on after an unforeseen breakup?

I tend to overthink a lot of things and that translates into my need to love people and when I was in my last relationship, I devoted myself to loving this person and out of the blue she dumped me. I'm not as hung up on it as I was for the first week after it happened, but it still eats away at my mental wellbeing in some ways and I'm just wondering what some people have done to help them move passed the relationship and be ready for the next one.
