Was there a year zero? Technically, the Gregorian calendar didn’t start til like the 100s or so because they made it about Jesus. So really there was no year 0.
There was still a year zero. That's like saying all the B. C. years don't exist. Of course they did, just because modern time hasn't been invented doesn't mean it didn't exist. Did gravity not exist before Newton?
No I get you, but it seems strange to have a year zero when it’s a nothing quantity. Like a year infinity or something. Anyway I’m you’re right.
True but its not really a nothing. Like June would just be 0.5 or whatever. Luckily this happened so long ago no one really needs to think or care about it. Works the same with time now that I see the other guys post. In military time 0:00 is the beginning not 1. So you have to count midnight to 1 as the 0 hour just like the date
Gotcha. I think society says it’s a new decade when the most numbers change :)
I get society’s view. The year 2000 was such a change but really it’s the ending year of the last millennia.
Is 12:00:00 am noon or midnight?
