Suppose this Cold War: The Sequel becomes hot war this time. America has less soldier than China so America imposes mandatory conscription, jail time for pussing out the draft like in Vietnam war era. America needs more bodies on the frontline to push in China's vast land.

If a full-blown war between the US and China broke out, we'd reach the point of slinging nukes at each other well before we needed to activate the selective service system.

Considering the extreme lengths our own government, media and major corporations are going to carry water for China, it's also extremely unlikely that the US would be engaging in such a conflict either.

Well, it's conscription, so you wouldn't sign up. You'd be forced. Still, I wouldn't be excited about fighting a war for a cause I didn't believe in.

Well more and more countries are recognising mass genocide in Xinjiang, China. The latest country is UK

US also recognised recently so at this point, I don't think it's the only Republicans who'd be up in arms to liberate Xinjiang. Pretty bilateral
