Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?

loving someone and having them love you back is the best feeling on the planet...

but losing them can be the worst pain you will ever feel.

is loving someone really worth being in pain after losing them?

  • It's really a matter of accepting that everything that happens in your life is for a reason, including the people who you come in contact with and build relationships with, who you might not be with anymore. It all contributes to learning how to be a better person for your next partner.

  • Would giving up the time and memories you created with them make you happy or were you genuinely happy knowing them and spending time with them, seeing them smile and hearing them laugh? If you would be ok with giving that stuff up, then no it's not worth it. If you're glad you got to know that person and experience how love feels, then of course it's worth it. Besides, you're super young, you'll move on.
