Is this a sign that he may like me?

This is a question for the guys: So I have a question: okay, my best friend is a boy and this past summer, I reached out to him on the phone (important detail: he was in North Carolina and I was in Maryland, a 5 hour car ride) to talk about a troubling family situation I was in that I knew he could relate to with empathy. It was also my birthday coming up and on the phone I complained about how awkward that birthday would be cause of the family situation and stuff. While I'm saying this, he cuts me off and asks if he could come visit me in Maryland for 3 days. I don't want to look too much into it, but my friends have said that this isn't the thing a platonic guy friend would do. What do you think, is this a potential sign?

  • Not a potential sign. A definite sign.

Think of all the other things he could do for 3 days.
Sleep, play video games, watch TV, sleep, masturbate, watch p*rn , sleep
But no, he'd rather spend those 3 days with you.

  • Above and beyond a platonic guy would do in my opinion.
