"a woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a Smoke." What do you think?

Fan of Kipling? What do you think of this famous line?

  • His poem "If" is pretty awesome. It reads like a tutorial on what it takes to be a man, what it takes to have strong conviction and moral fiber.

"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;"

That said, Kipling was known for being pretty chauvinistic, and this poem "The Bethrothed" supports that notion. Dude was kind of a bastard.
